If this is selected (bold) I have a ‘top’ view of the wall socket. In the Project Browser there is under Floor Plans à Ref. In the project browser these can be found under Families à Generic Models à 3DRecessed à 3DRecessed (and equivalent for the surface-mounted one). If I load a family (an rfa file) in Revit what I can do depends from family to family, but sometimes I can select but not delete (or change) the 3D geometry.įor example, a wall socket has two versions : a recessed one and surface-mounted one. One idea is to use simpler 3D geometries in hope that that would improve performance, starting from existing families provided by Stabicad. I am somewhat familiar with AutoCad and Inventor. I am trying to change the library to our needs. Stabicad is a non-Autodesk program that adds functionality and libraries. I am using Revit 2016 with the extension Stabicad.
